An Artist & Creator License allows creative work to be used in projects such as songs, videos, performances, promotions, and other content while the seller keeps ownership. A Sync License covers use in visual media such as film, television, commercials, games, online video, and other projects where sound is paired with visuals. An Exclusive License gives one buyer broader rights under the agreed terms and may remove the work from future licensing or sale.

Not necessarily. Buying a license usually gives you permission to use the work under specific terms. Ownership remains with the creator unless the agreement clearly states that ownership or certain rights are being transferred.

Commercial use generally means the licensed work is being used in connection with something intended to generate revenue, promote a business, advertise a product or service, or support a paid project. Always review the specific license terms to see which commercial uses are allowed.

An exclusive license gives one buyer rights that are no longer offered to other buyers under the terms of that agreement. The license should clearly explain what becomes exclusive, what rights remain with the creator, and whether the work will be removed from future licensing or sale.

Yes. A seller may offer different license levels based on how the work will be used, the size of the audience, distribution, commercial purpose, or the amount of rights the buyer needs.

Review what uses are permitted, any restrictions, distribution or usage limits, commercial rights, duration, credit requirements, delivery details, and whether the license is exclusive or non-exclusive.

A seller should clearly explain what the buyer receives, how the work may be used, what is restricted, whether commercial use is allowed, any limits or expiration terms, payment expectations, delivery terms, and which rights remain with the seller.

Contact the seller before purchasing. Explain how you plan to use the work and ask whether a custom license or different set of terms is available. Do not assume that an unlisted use is automatically permitted.
